How to Write Scripts That Sound Human: 5 Pro Techniques

The difference between a flat read and a compelling one is almost never the voice model — it's the script and settings.

First, write like people speak. Short sentences. Contractions. One idea per breath. If a sentence is hard to read aloud, it will be hard to listen to.

Second, segment your script. A single 'Generate' call for a 20-minute chapter forces one performance across every mood. Instead, split by scene or section and tune each: raise expressiveness for dialogue, raise stability for dense technical passages.

Third, use pronunciation dictionaries for names, brands, and jargon. Thirty seconds of setup saves ten re-generations.

Finally, always audition two or three voices before committing. Voices have personality chemistry with scripts — the right match makes even a plain paragraph feel premium.
