Voice Safety and Consent at VoiceLuma

VoiceLuma supports the responsible development of authorized AI voices. Voice cloning requires consent confirmation, a recorded consent statement and compliance with VoiceLuma’s acceptable-use standards.

Our safety standards

  • Verified permission is required before any voice is cloned.
  • Public-figure impersonation is prohibited.
  • Unauthorized voice cloning is prohibited.
  • Child and child-like voice cloning is prohibited.
  • Users can report suspected misuse.
  • Voice owners can request review or removal.
  • AI-generated audio should be disclosed when appropriate.
  • Watermarking is applied whenever supported by the connected speech model.

How consent is verified

Each cloning request records the speaker’s legal name, the account holder’s relationship to the speaker, the intended use, and a recorded consent statement containing a unique consent number. The statement is transcribed and matched against the profile, and administrators review flagged requests before activation.

Reporting and removal

Anyone can report suspected misuse through the Contact page, and voice owners can request review or removal of a voice at any time. Reported voices are suspended while the report is investigated, and consent can be revoked by the person who gave it.

Responsible use of generated audio

Generated audio should never be used to deceive listeners about who is speaking. Disclose AI-generated audio where required by law, platform policy or basic fairness to your audience.
